Charley has a strange feeling when she sees the idyllic mill house with its cluster of outbuildings, the lake and the swirling mill stream; a powerful sense of recognition, as if she has been there before. Except she knows she hasn’t.
After Charley and her husband Tom move into Elmwood Mill, sinister memories of a previous existence start to haunt her. Despite both their attempts to dismiss everything with rational explanations, the feeling turns to certainty as the memories become increasingly vivid and terrifying.Charley is persuaded to undergo hypnosis – but in searching deep into her past, she unwitting opens a Pandora’s box of evil … and now the terror is free.
Not My Thoughts on this book as I am delighted that it has been reviewed for the blog by a fellow bookworm, and someone who’s opinion I value highly. So many thanks to Eva for sharing her opinion of Sweetheart
Sweetheart is an early Peter James book and it is one of his supernatural natural type thrillers.
As is to be expected of PJ it is very well written and gripping from page one, it is extremely creepy so dont read it of you are alone at night!!
In some respects it was very like a Stephen King book and I throughly recommend it.
Staying on the Peter James theme, next week I am so looking forward to finally being able to share my review of Love You Dead which I was both excited and honoured (imo) to recieve an ARC for- and I predict it is going to the top of the charts leaving everything else in its wake!    Watch this blog !!
Thank you once again for reading and advance thanks if you share this anywhere x ( hint hint – not subtle I know but would love some more followers in readyness for Blog Tours) x
