Review: I See You (The cover is superb before you even begin to read the book)

I See You

When Zoe Walker sees her photo in the classifieds section of a London newspaper, she is determined to find out why it’s there. There’s no explanation: just a grainy image, a website address and a phone number. She takes it home to her family, who are convinced it’s just someone who looks like Zoe. But the next day the advert shows a photo of a different woman, and another the day after that.

Is it a mistake? A coincidence? Or is someone keeping track of every move they make . . .

My Thoughts

Firstly I must thank a fellow blogger who very kindly shared her copy with me because she knows how impatient I am #FOMO and I was so careful with the book so I did not damage it – highly important not to damage a borrowed book esp an ARC like this.

Stunning. What a read that was, Clare Mackintosh has a real gift for this writing malarkey and in Zoe Walker she has created a character many of us can relate too and this was the appeal for me.

She takes the mundane and ordinary and turns it on its head and gives us a belter of a book, and I for one will be changing some of my habits (you can never be too careful).

I had 2 theories and 1 of them was right, but I did not get there instantly as I See You has more twists than you can shake a stick at.

It more than equals if not betters I Let You Go, so watch for awards and praise by the bucket load.
