Was delighted to recieve a review copy of the latest Amanda Prowse and even happier to discover that it was signed and a personal message also attached so big thank you to Amanda and her team for this. x
Once a week, Rosie Tipcott counts her blessings.
She goes to sit on her favourite bench on the north Devon cliffs, and thanks her lucky stars for her wonderful husband, her mischievous young daughters, and her neat little house by the sea. She vows to dedicate every waking hour to making her family happy.
But then her husband unexpectedly leaves her for another woman and takes the children. Now she must ask the question: what is left in her life? Can Rosie find the strength to rebuild herself? More importantly, does she even want to
This was another book by Amanda Prowse that I enjoyed very much and she is in fact one of the few authors of this genre that I read, and this is because of the style of her writing and how easily each book flows.
Every book takes no effort at all to read and this was no exception, it is seamless with its delivery of story telling, emotions and everyday life.
I was quickly drawn into the highs and lows of Rosie’s life, her children, her dreams and everything she held dear. Her life quickly turns around and not for the right reasons and as that life spirals downward I really wanted to slap one of the characters so so much on Rosie’s behalf, this is the quality of Amanda’s writing.
I would recommend this book highly and with no hestation award it a 5 sheep rating.
