Kajsa runs Sweden’s largest Health and Fitness blog. There’s only one small problem; it’s all a big lie. Between her blog entries on healthy nutritious porridge, she lies on the sofa watching TV and eating sweets.
Her life seems perfect: A beautiful house in an attractive suburb of Stockholm, three children, a loving husband and lots of money.
However, things start to crumble when she accidently writes that she is bestfriends with a famous Hollywood personal trainer.
An ambitious journalist, who doesn’t believe Kajsa has been honest on the blog, sets out to destroy her.
Besides the annoying journalist, she must deal with Peter, “the blog following hunk”, and an outrageous priest who keeps spreading Kajsa’s secrets all over town!
Bestselling Swedish author Therese Loreskär writes with a never-ending sense of humour and energy.
The Queen of Blogging is for anyone who enjoys a comic read that also explores the downside of our generation’s constant use of social media
This is a real departure for me from my normal genres but I just had to read it as I know many many people that you could apply the title too.
Queen of Blogging is a quick and easy read which is 100% perfect for chick lit fans, it has a fabulous sense of fun about it even when Kajsa’s life starts to go not quite according to plan. Kajsa has many flaws but they are all tackled with humour esp her parenting skills which leave alot to be desired and make mine look postively good.(No mean feat)
As bona fide blogger I did find that the book certainly opened my eyes to the less honest side of blogging that I was not aware of before and wont be following in Kajsa’s footstep’s any time soon but the book certainly makes for an entertaining read with a moral or 2 along the way.
Book 2 looks worth a read too and this would make a really good film. Thanks to Bombshell Books for my advance copy. x
