Blog Tour: The Food of Love by Amanda Prowse

Still remember the elation when I opened an email asking me if I wanted an ARC of the latest Amanda Prowse bookThe Food Of Love YES PLEASE!!! and then a place on the blog tour WOW !  YES PLEASE !! Never have I been part of such a large tour that is being sponsored by the publishers so I feel really honoured to be included.

About the Book

Freya Braithwaite knows she is lucky. Nineteen years of marriage to a man who still warms her soul and two beautiful teenage daughters to show for it: confident Charlotte and thoughtful Lexi. Her home is filled with love and laughter.

But when Lexi’s struggles with weight take control of her life, everything Freya once took for granted falls apart, leaving the whole family with a sense of helplessness that can only be confronted with understanding, unity and, above all, love.

In this compelling and heart-wrenching new work by bestselling author Amanda Prowse, one ordinary family tackles unexpected difficulties and discovers that love can find its way through life’s darkest moments.

My Thoughts

This is possibly the toughest yet the most amazing book of this genre I have read, with Another Love (also be Amanda) being a close 2nd.
It stopped being a book and became real life very early on, effortless reading.
Yet again, Amanda has written about a subject that has huge parallels with my own life and it was emotional and difficult to read in places because of the realism. Every tear I shed was genuine and there were many of them.
This is not a family drama, this is a families life. Beautifully written and I will not forget reading it in a hurry.
